Information Sharing

An Information Sharing Agreement has been developed to support Hillingdon SAB and its partners in sharing the right information, at the right time, with the right people. Effective information sharing is fundamental to safeguarding practice.

The purpose of the document is to:

Promote the safeguarding of adults by the carefully considered sharing of information about identified risks

Help front-line staff adopt a proportionate and consistent approach to balancing the risks of non-disclosure against the infringement of individuals’ right to privacy and confidentiality.
