The multi-agency training provided by Hillingdon SAB offers a broad range of opportunities for practitioners to work together in a learning environment with a common aim of improving adults’s safety and well-being.
There is a clear plan for the Safeguarding Adult Board to develop multi-agency training that will offer a broad range of opportunities for practitioners to work together in a learning environment with a common aim of improving adult’s safety and well-being which is outlined in our LSCB & SAB Joint Training Strategy.
The SAB training brochure is currently in development and will be published shortly. You can access current Safeguarding Adult courses through the Hillingdon Learning Zone but as theses courses are not organised by the SAB, the SAB Business Unit are unable to deal with any queries regarding them.
If you do not have a Learning Zone account, you will need to contact the Learning & Development team based at the Civic Centre on firstname.lastname@example.org who will set up an account for you.
One of the SAB’s responsibilities it to provide multi-agency training on key aspects of Adult Safeguarding. Our training strategy is taking shape and a growing range of courses will be available on Hillingdon’s Learning Zone in the near future.
Part of our training program includes completion of an Evaluation Form which has 3 stages:-
Stage 1 – this is a tick box exercise which will take place at the beginning of the session and will help us to assess your knowledge before you attended the training session.
Stage 2 – this is also a tick box exercise which will help us to understand what you have learned from the training session and is completed on the day, at the end of the training session.
Stage 3 – this consists of 4 quick questions and the Evaluation Form will be sent to you after 6 weeks, by email, to help us understand how the training has influenced your practice.
